Hotels at Stockholm Arlanda Airport

When an airport hotel makes sense

Arlanda lies 37 km north of Stockholm city centre. For a night in the city that's no obstacle, as the train takes less than 20 minutes. An airport hotel still makes sense in three cases: you're flying early in the morning and don't want to cross the city to the train before sunrise. You're landing late and just want to sleep after the flight. Or you're changing planes at Arlanda and have a night between two flights.

In the terminal building or by shuttle

Two hotels are in Sky City, the building between Terminal 4 and Terminal 5: the Radisson Blu Airport Terminal Hotel and the Clarion Arlanda Airport. From there you can walk to every terminal without leaving the building. Arlanda C railway station is also in Sky City. The Comfort Hotel Arlanda Airport stands directly opposite the entrance to Sky City.

A little further out are the Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel, around 2 km from the airport, and the Forenom Hotel & Apartments Arlanda, a few minutes away. Swedavia's shuttle buses serve both, free of charge to the Radisson Blu Arlandia. If you're flying from Terminal 2, the Arlanda Express takes you between Terminal 2 and Terminal 5 in one minute free of charge.

The city as an alternative

If you have a whole day, you're better off in the city. The Arlanda Express reaches Central Station in 18 minutes, while the Pendeltåg (SL commuter train) and the airport bus take around 40 minutes.
