airportstockholm.com answers two questions: which of the four airports named Stockholm your trip starts at, and how you get from there into the city.
That distinction is the reason this site exists. Only Arlanda and Bromma are actually on Stockholm's doorstep. Skavsta belongs to Nyköping and is 100 km away, Västerås as much as 110 km. If you only find that out at the baggage belt, the longer part of your journey is still ahead of you.
We explain which airport plays which role, who flies there and which connection into the city suits which trip: the Arlanda Express in 18 minutes, the airport bus to Cityterminalen, the Pendeltåg (SL commuter train) with the Arlandapassage, or a taxi at a maximum fare. airportstockholm.com is an independent guide. We are not the official website of any airport; Arlanda and Bromma are operated by Swedavia.
We are not a Stockholm travel guide. We deliberately leave out sights, city hotels and restaurants, because they have nothing to do with choosing the right airport. Nor are we a flight search engine, and we don't arrange car hire.
