Flygbussarna is the airport bus for the Stockholm region. Its buses run from all three airports with scheduled flights to Cityterminalen, the bus station right next to Stockholm C (Central Station). The ticket is valid for three months on any departure on the route you booked, in either direction. Children up to 7 ride free, up to four per adult.

Arlanda
The bus runs every 15 minutes from Terminal 5 via Terminal 2 to Cityterminalen, taking 42 minutes. At the airport you board at stop 1 outside Terminal 5 or stop 6 outside Terminal 2. Along the way it stops at Järva Krog, Frösunda, Haga Norra and Haga Södra, Norra Stationsgatan and S:t Eriksplan, which is handy if you're staying in the north of the city or in Vasastan.
Two further routes run from stop 2 (Terminal 5) and stop 5 (Terminal 2) to Liljeholmen in the south, around 50 minutes, and to Brommaplan in the west, around 55 minutes. The buses run from early morning until late evening in line with the flight schedule, plus night buses.

Skavsta
At Skavsta near Nyköping the bus stops right outside the terminal and takes around 80 minutes to Cityterminalen, gate 5. There's no regular-interval timetable; departures follow the flight schedule. Västerås
At Västerås the bus stops right outside the main terminal entrance and takes around 80 minutes to Cityterminalen. More about the airport on the Västerås page.
Tickets
You buy your ticket online or in the Flygbussarna app. It's valid for three months on any departure on the route you booked, so a delayed landing doesn't cost you a new ticket. If there are four or more of you with luggage, it's worth looking at a taxi or private transfer, which charge per vehicle.
